Jason Steven Ruan is a Brooklyn-born creative. Writer. Director. Photographer. His desire for telling stories began in childhood, when he first put his hands on his father’s often-unused Panasonic PV-L550D VHS Camcorder. Creating short films with family and friends followed shortly thereafter. His quest to keep learning, creatively evolving, and tell sincere stories—through narrative, music videos, commercials, branded content and other visual media— remain his inspiration.
When he isn’t in the process of creating, he can usually be found in the book section of ANY department store.
